KLSCCCI Charity Golf Championship & Charity Dinner 2022 (18-8-2022)
As one of the active institutions representing the Chinese business community, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) also emphasizes in organising and participating in welfare, cultural, educational and national unity activities besides promoting the development of economic and commercial activities. It has become a yearly tradition for KLSCCCI to donate to charitable and welfare organisations, and to distribute ‘ang pau’ and ‘duit raya’ to old folks’ homes and orphanages in conjunction with the celebration of Lunar New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Over the years, KLSCCCI has also provided assistance to needy families during difficult times.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, KLSCCCI has initiated various programmes to support the society to overcome difficulties caused by the pandemic. These progammes include the donation of the urgently needed medical equipment to support the healthcare system and to provide food aid to assist individuals and families, irrespective of their ethnic background. KLSCCCI also initiated a flood relief operation in 2021 to provide equipment in support of the cleaning up works, and to provide cash vouchers to badly affected families in the flood areas in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
We are pleased to inform that KLSCCCI will organise a Charity Golf Championship and Charity Dinner on 18th August 2022 (Thursday). The objectives of these events are:
(i) To provide a platform for networking and friendly competition for KLSCCCI members and invited guests.
(ii) To raise fund for KLSCCCI’s charitable and welfare activities.
