(i) Mr. Soon Wei Ee (CEO @ APW)
Soon Wei is the CEO of Art Printing Works (APW), a creative industrial space in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. At APW, he has successfully rolled out ambitious plans to transform the old commercial printing factory into a campus that includes a collaborative workspace, a food-and-beverage belt, and event venues.
APW was established as Art Printing Works, a commercial printing factory. In 2013, an idea was conceived to repurpose underutilized spaces within the printing factory – to convert the factory into inspiring creative space. Various spaces have since been reimagined to create an urban campus for the community, by bringing together individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds through events, workshops, and programmes.
(ii) Ms. Laís de Oliveira (Founder @ 8spaces)
Laís de Oliveira is the founder at 8spaces (community driven platform to connect people through spaces) and Facilitator of the socio-cultural aspects of MAP (MaGIC Accelerator Program, which gathers 50 startups from Malaysia and ASEAN in a 4 months program).
