Appeal for Donation to KLSCCCI Welfare Fund
As part of our social obligation to the community, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) is endeavoured to assist the underprivileged. In this regard, it has become a yearly tradition for KLSCCCI to contribute to selected welfare and charitable organisations and to distribute ‘duit raya’ and ‘ang pau’ to orphanages and old folks homes in conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Chinese New Year. Meanwhile, KLSCCCI has organised annual lunch gathering with elderly citizens from old folks homes and primary and secondary school students of all ethnic groups from orphanages and charitable organisations respectively in conjunction with the celebration of Chinese New Year and Malaysia Day.
KLSCCCI organises a fund raising campaign every year to raise approximately RM80,000 to carry out the welfare activities such as contribution and lunch gatherings. In this respect, we would like to seek your kind support by donating to the Welfare Fund for the underprivileged. Please send your donation by crossed cheque and together with the attached reply slip to KLSCCCI’s Secretariat. Crossed cheque should be made payable to “KLSCCCI”. An official receipt will be issued accordingly and the contribution name list will be published in the Website and Annual Report of KLSCCCI.
** As KLSCCCI is a non-profit organisation and not a charitable organisation, the said donation is not entitled for tax exemption.
