Appeal for Sponsorship to Malaysia Day Charity Luncheon 2017
As one of the active institutions representing the Chinese business community, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) also emphasizes in striking a balance with the social welfare, cultural and educational activities besides promoting the development of economic and commercial activities. In this regard, it has become a yearly tradition for KLSCCCI to contribute to selected orphanages, welfare and charitable organisations and old folks homes in conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Chinese New Year. Meanwhile, KLSCCCI has organised annual lunch gathering with elderly citizens from old folks homes to celebrate the Chinese New Year festive together since 2007.
With the aim to promote national unity and racial harmony, KLSCCCI has organised a lunch gathering with primary and secondary school students of all ethnic groups from orphanages and charitable organisations since 2013 in conjunction with the celebration of Malaysia Day. In view of the overwhelming response, KLSCCCI will organise the Malaysia Day Charity Luncheon for the fifth (5th) time on 14th October 2017. Details are as follows:
