KLSCCCI Chinese New Year Charity Activities & Donations 2019
As part of our social obligation to the community, KLSCCCI is endeavoured to assist the underprivileged. In this regard, it has become a yearly tradition for KLSCCCI to contribute to selected welfare and charitable organisations and to distribute ‘duit raya’ and ‘ang pau’ to orphanages and old folks homes in conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Chinese New Year. KLSCCCI has also organised lunch gathering with elderly citizens from old folks homes and primary and secondary school students of all ethnic groups from orphanages and charitable organisations respectively in conjunction with the celebration of Chinese New Year and Malaysia Day.
(i)Appeal for Donation to KLSCCCI Welfare Fund
KLSCCCI organises a fund raising campaign every year to raise approximately RM80,000 to carry out the welfare activities such as contribution and lunch gatherings. We would like to seek kind support from KLSCCCI’s members by donating to the Welfare Fund for the underprivileged. Crossed cheque should be made payable to “KLSCCCI”.
(ii)Appeal for Sponsorship to KLSCCCI Chinese New Year Charity Luncheon 2019
KLSCCCI has also organised annual lunch gathering with elderly citizens from old folks homes to celebrate the Chinese New Year festive together since 2007. In view of the overwhelming response, KLSCCCI will organise the Chinese New Year Charity Luncheon again on 19th January 2019 (Saturday), 12.00noon at KLSCCCI’s Seng Peng Hall. We will be very much obliged if your esteemed company or your goodself could help us in making this auspicious Luncheon a great success by (i)Sponsoring Cash (as the fund for the expenses of Luncheon/door gifts) or (ii)Sponsoring Door Gifts.
